My other sites:
www.theencourager.info/ is in the process of being changed to www.christiansformentalhealth.com This is a website I run originally started as a typed newsletter starting in 2002 called The Encourager with the subheading "A newsletter for and by Christians struggling with mental health". Over the years it has evolved and I am trying to make it more for anyone struggling with mental health issues, not just Christians but also families, carers, and the general public. I still do a newsletter occasionally and this can be recived by sending $10 annualy with a letter saying what you want with your address to P.O Box X2222 Perth 6847. We do not offer emergency sevices or official counselling but do understand and have been through a lot of the things you do, so do understand. There is a links page on this site for further support groups, counseling and emergencency services like Mental Health Emergency response Team , MHERLE {formally P.E.T.} on 1300 555788 24hrs in Perth Western Australia plus others elsewhere..
www.christiandisabledaustralia.net This is a new website starting in August 2009 aimed at promoting inclusion of disabled people in the community and in particular churches that aren't disabled friendly and encourages those that are to go further. My aim and believe "calling'', a rather old fashioned Christian term that's still relevant today, is one of making the church a more inclusive welcoming place for people on the out skirts of it and society. I do that through the internet sites listed here and am available to give talks to churches and community groups on making life and church more inclusive of disabled and mentally ill people. I don't give talks on the subject of my next site but check out my sites. All you have to do is click on the web page link.
www.christianbookscheap.net is my collecting and distributing of Christian books cheap. Most books cost under $10 and many are under $5.It runs on donations and getting them cheap and if you want to donate or buy check out this website.Sales are buy booking only and donations can be left at The Uniting Church in the City office (donations only not sales}. There are thoughts about making it a book exchange where books can be swapped for a cash donation. All details see website. Both Catholic and Protestant books are welcome.
www.simplysupportingsingles.net is not a match making service but is there for those who wish to remain single regardless of their orientation or reason they are now single.
www.thechristianqueer.net is there for informing and affirming the Christian gay, lesbian, bi sexual, intersex and transgender, GLBTI, community and inform the heterosexual community that such people do exist and many have a Christian faith. It has lists of affirming churches and a Christian support group and people ton talk to. I do not talk on sexuality issues in speaking engagements or counsel on this or any subject.I am not a counsellor. I speak on health/disability related issues such as encouragement for discouraged people.
